Members who weren’t in teams last summer but who wish to play this coming season should notify Karen Donnelly (karen.donnelly@paradise.net.nz) for women’s teams or Toby Hunter or Ross Harris (toby.hunter@stats.govt.nz ross.harris@paradise.net.nz ) for men’s teams. Please notify immediately. There will be another opportunity to join a team at the beginning of 2009, for the post-Christmas phase of the competition. We also have court time at the Renouf Centre for interclub teams to practice, so teams, don’t forget to take this up. GUESTS Guests are welcome to visit the club, particularly if deciding whether they want to join or not. Guests may use the courts when accompanied by a member, and it’s the member’s responsibility to make sure the $5 per person, per visit fee is paid – via the envelope and slot-in-the-door system. Guests may play on up to three occasions per season - probably best at times when the courts are likely to be free. The courts can be quite busy during the week from around 6.00pm and will be tied up on Saturday mornings when interclub starts. And a reminder about footwear – wear tennis shoes with non-marking soles please. Definitely no black soles. Enjoy your tennis this season! Your Committee
