Participant´s protocol on a PT 23/4 Proficiency Test Object of PT 23/4 Determination of C, Mn, Si, P, S, Cu, Cr, Ni, Al, Mo, V, Ti, Sn, Sb, Pb, B, Zn, Co, As in cast iron (C < 3.6%, Mn < 0.5%, Si < 1.7%, P < 0.02%, S < 0.1%, Cu < 0.2%, Cr < 0.12%, Ni < 0.2%, Al < 0.03%, Mo < 0.01%, V < 0.05%, Ti < 0.2%, Sn < 0.1%, Sb < 0.01%, Pb < 0.015%, B < 0.005%, Zn < 0.03%, Co < 0.02%, As < 0.015%) by Atomic Emission and X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometries on a plane of solid sample. The validated wet–way methods may be used. Time of PT 23/4 March 2015 Test participant Working place: Address: Phone/fax: E-mail: Date of sample receipt: Date of analysis: Name and signature of analyst: Name of supervisor responsible for the results validation: Date and signature: Laboratory stamp: An integral part of this PT 23/4 protocol are methodical instructions with possible participant´s comments and tabulated results. The results will be processed under a code number only so the participant´s identity may not be disclosed. Please perform the analysis within two weeks after sample receipt and forward the protocol immediately after the test is completed to the organizer´s address below: Iva Bogumská - SPL ul. 1. máje 432 735 31 Bohumín 3 Czech Republic E-mail: info@spl-bohumin.cz Methodical instructions for PT 23/4 participants Prior to analysis of a PT 23/4 sample please the calibration should be validated by the regular procedure as per the laboratory Q. A. instructions. Please identify a main or prevailing RM used for the calibration: List the elements, for which a correction was applied: Instruction to the analysis Fill the results of five paralel determinations in the tables of the protocol*. The number of digits should comply with that in the approximate values indicated in the top of tables. *If more than one technique is applied (AES and RFS, AES and wet-way analysis), please give the particular sets of results in separed copies of the protocol. Each participant will be assigned his code number for each method applied. The same principle may be used for stable and mobile instrument. Participant´s comments Please mention below any comment concerning conditions that may have affected your results in the PT 23/4: Table of analysis results of PT 23/4 sample 1. 2.
