Classroom Values The purpose of the values is to create behavioral expectations for the children as they interact with their peers and their environment. The children co-construct the values of their classroom with their teacher, thereby taking ownership of their classroom responsibilities. This creates a common language and understanding among diverse groups of children and serves as a way to unify the group.
