He is an enthousiastic reseacher and supervisor and teached me a lot, especially about the Fingerspitzengefuehl. But above all, he is a very cool guy and I am glad to spent so much time with him at many places, from the cleanroom in the early morning to the &zo in the late night! Bert has a knowledge about chemicals I did never see before, and I hope I will be allowed to consult him in the future too. The nicest thing of Bert is that he always spend time to think about my ideas and plans, how unusual they sometimes may have been looking. Paul, I like to thank you for allowing me to do my master thesis in your group. Your insight in the matter is fantastic and I like the discussions we had on the early monday mornings. Auke, what a fortune I met you. Not only we spent time with very good discussions about molecules, currents and more science, but also with beer drinking, snookering and skiing. I hope we can continue our friendship in the future. Furthermore, I like to thank the group for the nice and good time I had. The atmosphere in the group is great! I thank Dorinda, Heit, Mem, Mollo and Beppe Anne for the great support I get from them!
