As Chair: Maintain budget for department, serve on council of chairs,
supervise 1 full time faculty member and 4 adjunct, carry out all duties as
chair.
Professor for Ceramics and Sculpture courses including freshman level to
senior seminar.
Strong teaching focus on foundation level courses. Deeply involved with Arts
and Humanities 150, an introduction to the arts and humanities of western
civilization.
Maintain ceramic and sculpture studio.
Maintain all studio equipment including outdoor kiln, building of Raku kiln,
electric kiln repairs, pugmill repair, organized sculpture lab and repair of all
power equipment including table saw, band saw, as well as welding area.
Serve on assigned committees-Special Events-Chair of committee: 20022007/Ad Hoc- Arts and Humanities Festival committee-symbols of excellence.
