Triple Threat Performing Arts 2014-2015
Dear Parents and Students,
We want to welcome all of our new and continuing students to this year's dance season at Triple Threat
Performing Arts. We are excited to start the New Year and to begin working with all of the students!
Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 8th and will continue through June 19th. We will
also have an end of the year Showcase on Saturday, June 20th 2015.
Here are some general guidelines that we expect all of our students to follow. Please don't hesitate to ask
if you should have any questions.
Registering for classes:
Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. A complete registration will include the registration
form, automatic payment authorization form, and registration fee. Incomplete registration forms or
incorrect payment amounts may delay your registration. We will notify you only if there is a problem. No
confirmation will be sent. You can assume you have been registered unless you hear from us. Classes not
meeting minimum enrollment may be cancelled. You may register by mail by sending your completed
registration to: TTPA 315 Wright Brothers Ave, Livermore, Ca 94551. You may also drop off your form
at the studio or in the mail slot. Please make checks payable to "Triple Threat Performing Arts" (TTPA).
Registration Fee: There is an annual non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration. This
fee is $30.00 for each dancer and is due with the first month's tuition.
Tuition: Tuition is based on 10 months, September through June; Tuition is NEVER prorated. Monthly
tuition will remain the same throughout the year, regardless of holidays or illnesses. It is divided into 10
equal monthly installments.
Adding & Dropping Classes: All class changes MUST be emailed to info@triplethreatpa.com.
ADD/DROP REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY TELEPHONE. If a dancer stops coming
to class, we will NOT automatically drop him / her. DROPS REQUIRE A FULL 30-DAY EMAIL
NOTICE . The studio also requires full payment for any costumes and supplies ordered on your behalf,
regardless of withdrawal date.
Billing: WE DO NOT BILL. Tuition is charged according to the DIRECT PAYMENT policy listed
below. Once enrolled you are responsible for monthly tuition payments without receiving a monthly
statement reminder.
DIRECT PAYMENT - VISA/ MASTERCARD DRAFT. Monthly tuition will be charged the first day
of each month September - June.
PLEASE CHECK THE APPROPRIATE BOX ON THE PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION FORM, SIGN
AND RETURN WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM.
Returned Checks:
There will be a $25.00 service fee on all returned checks. After 3 returned checks on the account we will
require payment in cash, money order or cashier's check.

Class Make-up Policy: Legitimate absences phoned in prior to class are eligible for a make-up class, and
a slip should be picked up from the office. The class taken should be equal to the dancer's age and level,
and it should not be a full class. Any class cancelled due to teacher absence will be made up at a time
arranged with that teacher. When notified in advance of a prolonged illness or injury keeping the student
out of class for longer than one month, your account will be put on hold and your space held only if you
have notified the director immediately.
Dress Codes: For all the classes dancers are to wear proper attire. Leotard and tights, leotard and biking
shorts, unitards, biketards, dance skirts, etc., are all acceptable. Leotards and tights can be purchased at
most large department stores. If your child is taking a combination or introduction to dance class, he/she
will need either ballet slippers or jazz shoes and black tap shoes. Double check with your dance teacher
for specific shoes the class will need for the recital. It is best to have your child try dance shoes on; dance
shoes should not fit loosely. Females taking ballet are required to wear black leotards, pink tights, pink
ballet shoes, and should have their hair secured in a ponytail or a bun. Males talking ballet are required to
wear black shorts, white shirts, and black ballet shoes.
**Helpful Hints
1. For young students, we suggest taking the tie shoelaces out of the tap shoes and sewing in a loop of
black elastic in their place. Also there are commercial products that are elastic that work great. Make the
elastic so it stretches when the foot goes in and snug, but not too tight when the foot is in.
2. Your child will need a carry bag to transport her dance shoes in. He/she should never wear her tap or
ballet shoes outside. Have him/her come in street shoes and put them on when in the studio.
3. Mark your child's belongings, including dance shoes, jackets, coats, etc. Many items get misplaced and
I easily can find the owner if their items are marked.
4. Please have your child bring a filled water bottle to class each week. We work hard and need to rehydrate. The studio has no drinking fountain and water is so important to keep your young dancer healthy
and replenished.
Waiting rooms and classroom discipline: We have windows in all of our waiting rooms and hallways for
parents to observe recreational dancers. We find it very helpful for the learning process for dancers to
have full concentration in the studio.
Students are expected to display respectful behavior to their teachers, fellow students, and studio
property. Dance is a discipline as well as an art form, and students are expected to follow the discipline
of the classroom.
Keeping Up-To-Date: We have learned that information that is given to students in class does not always
make it home. Though we will continue to give updates to the students, your best resource for up-to-date
information is at our website. The calendar will keep you abreast of all events, while the news page will
keep you posted on any new developments. The newsletters are also posted online and available in the
lobby upstairs and downstairs. You can also check the studio bulletin boards.
Please keep the office up to date with changes in your contact info, this will help us keep in contact with
any new information for the studio. We send a lot of important information out via email. Please make
sure your email is up to date with the office.
