ADMISSIONS (classes KG to IX)
Procedure

Advertisement for Admission for the session 2013-14 will be published in the leading Newspapers in
January, 2013.

Admission forms can be collected online / from the school’s premises within the prescribed time limit
specified in the advertisement on payment of Rs.500/- (in cash).

Registration Form (duly filled in) is to be submitted along with the photocopy of the previous report
card and the Date of birth certificate.

All applicants will be called for an Entrance Test to be held within 15 days from the submission of the
form. The Syllabus for the same will be handed over along with the admission form. Parent
interaction along with the child will be held after the Entrance Test.

All original documents, to support the documents attached along with form, to be brought on the day
of interaction.

Results will be declared within a week’s time.

Admission formalities can be completed by submitting the Fee through Demand Draft only along with
the Offer Letter issued by the School.

An original Transfer Certificate is required from the previous school for the students seeking
admission at AIS-Gurgaon. Admit Card will not be issued if the Transfer Certificate is not submitted.

Information for Admission to Class XI will be available after 31st March, 2013.

There are no admissions in class XII as per the School’s policy.

Students are admitted to the school through the year depending on the vacancies arising in any given
class.


Children born between 01.04.08 and 31.03.09 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for registration to
class KG.

AMIOWN.
*** Since admissions for classes Kg to IX are based on the availability of seats, online admissions
would not be feasible. (Admissions for Transfer cases goes on till the end of 1st Term)
FAQs

Overseas students face problems as far as the Hindi subject is concerned as they are not taught the
subject in their previous school. (Compulsory in our school till class VIII)

Outstation candidates want online Entrance tests to be held which saves them a trip for a day or two
undertaken just to appear for the Entrance test.

As the Board Examinations have become optional, parents are interested to know whether admissions
to class X will be open for the session 2011-12.
