Scholarship
Amounts:
Eligibility:
Maximum Amount – Up to $500 for college students
1. Members of Knights of Columbus Council 10932, age 18 – 24, who
are pursuing their initial undergraduate degree (Not intended for
continuing education).
2. Cannot be a recipient of any other Knights of Columbus College
Scholarship awards. (Freshman Year Only)
3. Scholarships are renewable for up to four continuous years (annual
application required).
Requirements:
1. Log-on to ascensionkofc.com for scholarship application.
2. If unable to access application on-line, you may request application
from:

3. College applicants must plan to attend any accredited private,
community, vocational, or public college as a full-time student.
4. Submit completed form for the upcoming school year to the Deputy
Grand Knight or any current officer of the Council no later than June
30th, 2011.
5. High school/College transcripts must be available upon request.
Selection
Process:
1. Officers of the Council or a selection committee will review the
applications and verify that the member is in good standing with the
council.
2. Upon verification they will determine the number of qualified
scholarship recipients and the scholarship amount (amount of
scholarship will be determined by dividing the budgeted Membership
Scholarship dollars by the number of qualified applicants; Maximum
award: $500).
3. Selection will be based on active membership (3 meetings or
activities/year) and being in good standing financially with council.
4. Quantity and amount of scholarships may be changed at the discretion
of the officers based on number and qualifications of applicants.
5. Scholarships will be announced no later than August. 15, 2011.
Scholarship check will be payable to the student - to be used for
expenses related to college.
