EARLY ENROLLMENT ADMISSION Checklist of Items Needed Admission application—$40 fee is NOT required if paid through Concurrent Enrollment Driver License # or State ID # (# needed on application) ACT or Accuplacer (CPT) scores, ACT scores must be official. High school transcript—must be official. Parent Permission Form—can be found at www.slcc.edu/earlyenrollment under ‘Forms’. Permission letter from the high school counselor, principal, or vice principal—must be on letterhead. The letter must state the student is currently enrolled and has permission to attend SLCC early. Students in home schooled setting must complete the Home School Certificate, which can be found at www.slcc.edu/earlyenrollment under ‘Forms’. High school age students, not attending high school (dropped out) must obtain a letter from the school district stating the student has been released. PLACEMENT FOR EARLY ENROLLMENT ADMISSION College Placement Test Accuplacer (CPT) or ACT ACT: 20 or higher in Reading Comprehension and 18 or higher in Math. Official scores required. Sending an official high school transcript with ACT scores is one method of providing official scores. Students can also request official scores be sent from ACT. Check your ACT report or the ACT web page for instructions. Accuplacer (CPT): 81 or higher in Reading Comprehension and 54 or higher in Elementary Algebra. **ACT or Accuplacer scores listed above place students into Math 1010 and English 1010, scores are not required if student has taken Math 1010 or English 1010 and final grade appears on the student’s transcript.
