Undergraduate Transient Request Request to take courses at another institution (RTTAC) When do I use a Transient Approval request form? Students planning to register for any course at another institution with the intent of requesting that the course be transferred to Liberty University must complete this form. Students must seek the advice of their Liberty University Online academic advisor when preparing this request. What are some guidelines I need to be aware of before submitting this type of request? Please review the Transfer Policy for your specific degree program. Should I request a Consortium Agreement? Degree-seeking Liberty University students who qualify for financial aid and who intend to use financial aid funding to cover the tuition costs at another college/university may request a Consortium Agreement. An approved Consortium Agreement allows the credit hours taken at the other college/university to be used in determining the amount of financial aid a student may receive. Check the appropriate box on the transient request form if a Consortium Agreement is desired. If I am eligible for GI Bill benefits, how do I have these courses processed at another institution? 1. Check the box indicating that you are using GI Bill® benefits. 2. A copy of the RTTAC form will be forwarded on to the Office of Military Affairs for review. 3. The Office of Military Affairs will inform the other institution’s Certifying Official that these courses can be processed under the GI Bill® benefit. 4. The other institution’s Certifying Official will process out the GI Bill® accordingly. How do I submit this request? 1. Complete the form. Incomplete forms will not be processed. 2. Provide a course description or course syllabus for the requested course(s). 3. Email request form and course description information to luougtransferforms@liberty.edu or you may fax the form to 434-455-1286. 4. If your request is for MAT Content Competency Requirements, email the request form to contentcompevals@liberty.edu or you may fax the form to 434-455-1286. Who evaluates my request and how long does it take to process? 1. If a course description/syllabus is provided, a representative from the Liberty University Online Office of Transfer Evaluations will evaluate your request within 5 -7 business days. 2. A copy of the approved or denied request will be returned to your Liberty University webmail address.
