Thank you for your donations and support. P.P.O. Friends of Morin Heights Our Parent Committee will be meeting on October 16th at 7pm. It is not too late to attend, the more the merrier and the better services we will be able to provide for your children. For more information, please contact the chairperson, Caroline Timmons at (450) 226-2017. Volunteers Thanks to all of you who have returned the blue volunteer forms, you will be contacted shortly. Keep in mind that there are several ways for you to be involved in your child’s school life. Cross Country Run On October 11, the grade 4, 5, and 6 runners will be going to Oka for the cross country race. Our students have been training twice a week, rain or shine. We thank Lin Letourneau for volunteering her time with this event and to Debbie Grant from Bentleys for providing the bus for this trip. Best of luck to our runners! Halloween Safety Students will be attending a Halloween safety course just before the big day. Thank you in advance to Officer Basralian for her time. Halloween October 31st A Halloween activity will be organized by the student council, more info to follow… Ms Antioco keeps our site current with news of school activities. 2. Lost and Found items are already overflowing! Labeling your child’s clothing/lunch bags will help minimize losses. 3. School Security - Parents are reminded that students must be signed in or out at the school office if your child is arriving late or being picked up early. This procedure is essential in helping us keep track of all students. 4. Morning Supervision begins at 8:15. Unless they are going to daycare, students should not be arriving before that time as they will not be supervised.
