Eighth Grade: Between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to pick up schedules and pay fees
Fess will be $40. It includes an identification card and lanyard, physical education uniform, student planner and registration
fees. All checks should be made payable to Belle Place Middle School. The student’s name must be in the memo line. Students
must wear their uniforms.
*Parent orientation will be Monday, Aug. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Seventh and eighth grade parents should meet in the
cafeteria for a general assembly, followed by individual team meetings.
• Caneview Elementary: Tuesday, Aug. 6-Thursday, Aug. 8
Aug. 6: grades first through sixth, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Aug. 8: grades pre-kindergarten and kindergarten (and makeups from Aug. 6), 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Students should bring all school supplies, which were on a list included with the student’s report card. Students should go to
the cafeteria. Lunch money will be accepted. Student care registration will be held. Students must be in uniform.
• Center Street
Elementary, Thursday, Aug. 8
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Go to the cafeteria. Label school supplies with the student’s name.
First, second and third grades: 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Go to the classrooms. Rosters will be posted outside each teacher’s
classroom.
Fourth, fifth and sixth grades: 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Go to the classrooms. Rosters will be posted outside each teacher’s
classroom.
Students must be in uniform. Student care registration will be held in the cafeteria. The cafeteria manager will take prepayment for breakfast and/or lunch in the cafeteria.
Unregistered first time Center Street students can begin registering Wednesday, July 24 through Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 9
a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will also be open Thursday, Aug. 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Proper documentation is required.
• Coteau Elementary: Thursday, August 8 at 9 a.m.
Those unable to attend can go at 5:30 p.m. the same day.
Students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade should go to the cafeteria.

If the $7 ID card and lanyard is not paid at orientation, the cost will increase to $10

Parents can meet with their child’s teacher to pick up their packet, and then eat a hot dog, chips, cookie and a drink.

Eighth Grade: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
A short, mandatory presentation for parents and IMS students will be in the cafeteria at the beginning of each orientation
session.
Fees that must be paid at orientation include a student planner, $10; ID card and lanyard, $8; P.E. Uniform, $17
Students must wear their school uniforms. Students cannot register during orientation. Registration day is Monday, Aug. 5
between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
• Jeanerette Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Students must wear their uniforms.

Orientation will be held in the gym. Students must be in their uniforms. Buses will run. Contact the school for route
information.
Orientation for repeat freshmen, sophomores juniors and seniors will be Friday, Aug. 9
Student fees are $30. It includes an ID card, lanyard, student planner, school-wide management handbook and book locker.
Cash or money orders only.
Students who do not complete their orientation will be fined $35.
Additional fees include a parking permit for $15 and a P.E. Uniform for $20. Lab fees for some classes will be assessed at the
beginning of each semester.

Parents and students should go to the cafeteria for a short orientation. Students must be in school uniform.
Parents must fill out emergency cards and lunch forms at orientation. Parents need to bring contact information for at least
three emergency contacts, medical information for their child (such as conditions and medications) and social security
numbers for all members of a household to use for lunch forms.
A mandatory $10 ID card and lanyard must be purchased. If not, an additional $2 will be tacked on.
First time students should register at the school’s office beginning Monday, July 30 through Wednesday, August 7 from 8 a.m.
to 12 p.m.
• Loreauville Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Parents need to report to their child’s homeroom classrooms. School uniforms are required for students. Tables will be set up
in the cafeteria to pay for student care and lunch and/or breakfast.
• Loreauville High: Thursday, Aug, 1-Friday, Aug. 9
Seventh Grade: Thursday, Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Eighth Grade: Thursday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Ninth Grade: Thursday, Aug. 1 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Orientation for sophomores, juniors, seniors and skills option students will be Friday, Aug. 9
Orientation will be held in the gym. Students must be in uniform. Registration fees will be $30 for Tiger Tracks Planner/Student
Handbook, ID card, lanyard and book locker. Students who do not attend orientation at the scheduled time must pay a $10 late
fee.
Students who drive must buy a parking permit for $10
• Magnolia Elementary:Tuesday, Aug. 6-Thursday, Aug. 8

All students must pay a $12 fee for an ID card and lanyard. Second through six graders must may a $5 planner fee, and pre-K
and first graders must pay a $3 home school folder fee.

schedules, be assigned lockers and find their class locations. Students must be in uniform and pay a $30 fee that includes an ID
card, lanyard, student planner/handbook and book locker. Only cash and money orders will be accepted.
Orientation for sophomores, juniors, seniors and repeat freshmen will be on the first day of school. Returning students also
must pay the $30 in fees.
Students can begin purchasing parking permits two weeks prior to the beginning of cost for $25. Parking permits are required
for the first day of school.
• North Lewis Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8
Pre-K and Kindergarten parents only: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Second grade and fifth grade: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Third grade and sixth grade: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
First grade and fourth grade: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Students and parents should go to the classrooms. Rosters will be posted outside each classroom door. Students may bring
labeled supplies to orientation. Students must pay a $5 fee for ID cards. The money should be put in a labeled envelope and
given to the teacher.
School uniforms are required.
Registration for before and after school care will be in the cafeteria during all orientation times. Parents should not park in the
area’s business’ parking lots.
• North Street Elementary: Wednesday, Aug, 7-Thursday, Aug. 8
Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Parents and students should go to the auditorium for an assembly. After that, parents and students will be able to drop off
school supplies. Teachers will collect orientation fees.
School uniforms are required.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten orientation fee is $6 for an ID card, lanyard and home/school communicator.
First through six grade orientation fee is $10 for ID card, lanyard, planner, signed paper folder and home/school communicator
Tables will be set up in the main hall for student care registration, 4-H enrollment and North Street merchandise
• Park Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Students should meet in the cafeteria and will then meet with teachers

Students attending Park Elementary for the first time need to register at the school’s office for orientation
The $5 mandatory fee for a school ID should be placed in a sealed envelope and given to the teacher.
• Pesson Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8
Pre-Kindergarten through second grade: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Third through six grade: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Parents will have a 30 minute orientation in the leadership team in the cafeteria.
After that, parents and students will have a classroom orientation with the student’s teacher.
Rosters will be posted on the windows in the cafeteria.
Money for mandatory student IDs and lanyards, which are $5 total, will be collected by the classroom teachers, along with
money for a $5 planner for third through six graders. Cash or money orders only.
Tables will be set up to pay for breakfast and/or lunch and student care fees during both orientations.
School uniforms are required.
• St. Charles Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.
Parents and students will have a brief orientation in the cafeteria.
After that, parents and students will have a classroom orientation with the student’s teacher.
Rosters will be posted in front of the office and outside the classrooms. Student uniforms required.
• Sugarland Elementary: Thursday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Parents and students will have a brief orientation with the principal in the cafeteria.
After that, parents and students will go to the student’s classroom to meet with the student’s teacher.
Rosters will be posted outside the classrooms. Student uniforms are required.
Parents may bring their child’s labeled supplies with them.
Registration for the student care program may be completed during orientation.
• Westgate High: Monday, Aug. 5
Orientation will be held in the auditorium and the cafeteria
A – G: 8 a.m.
G – M: 8:45 a.m.
N – Z: 9:30 a.m.
First time freshmen: 10:15 a.m.
Parking permits are $25 and may be purchased from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Appropriate documentation must be provided.
