Dear Music Students and Parents:
The Marching Zephyr Band and the Whitehall Music Parents Association will host
Tournament of Bands Competition on Saturday, October 4, 2014
The Music Parents Association sponsors this event and pays for the program directly
from band funds. However, each marching band member is asked to help raise money
by selling ads for the program book. These ad sales help to both offset the program book
expense AND enable each participating band member to add to his/her individual Student
Account.
Students have the opportunity to sell ads ranging from:
Patrons for $2 per name;
Cheer ads at $5 per line;
and larger ads available to family, friends, or businesses -- from 1/8 page or business
card size, to full page. These range from $25 to $150.
Credit given as follows:
Student receives 80% credit for each Patron listing and/or Cheer ad sold.
Students receive
50% credit on larger-size ads.
Note: Ad credit cannot be shared between student accounts.
All monies and forms, whether for Patrons, Cheer ads, or the larger ads,
are to be turned in to Mr. Tanzos
no later than Monday, September 22, 2014**.
Please return all information and checks (no cash) in an envelope.
Every order page MUST include the MZB student name.
**Remember, we must meet this deadline
so the program books can be printed on time.
To save the band money, please print out the forms you need, as you need them. If you
are unable to print forms yourself or if you have any questions, please contact Pete
