Mrs. Sarah Hartman
Mrs. Sarah Hartman, 86, mother of Mrs. Eli Christophel, of Wakarusa, died Sunday in
her home in Cullom, Ill., where she suffered a stroke of Paralysis Thursday. Mrs.
Christophel was called to Cullom Friday. Mrs. Hartman leaves six sons and three
daughters. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Mennonite church at
Cullom where she was a member. Mr. Christophel and daughter, Alice, accompanied by
his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Christophel, of Lagrange, and
granddaughters, Erma and Ruth Schantz, of West Liberty, O., who are visiting at
Wakarusa, attended the funeral.
