Polar Express
Kindergarten will be having a
pajama day/Polar Express day on
Thursday, December 20th. Please
send your children to school in
their pajamas on that day. They will
be watching the movie the Polar
Express while enjoying hot
chocolate and snacks with their
classmates.
Thumbs-Up Assembly
On Wednesday, November 14th
Jackson Elementary students
attended a “thumbs-Up” assembly
to recognize students’ good
attendance and behavior during the
1st nine weeks. We gave out over 70
prizes thanks to generous donations
of local business and community
members!
Holiday Classroom Parties
Classroom parties will be held on December 21st at 2:00. If you choose
to send in a treat, please make sure that the ingredients are listed on
the outside to avoid any allergy complications. Also, due to space
limitations only room parents assigned through Home and School are
permitted to attend. We appreciate your cooperation!
Christmas Musical Program
Christmas Musical Programs will be held on December 18th and
December 19th. Parents are invited to attend. Please see the schedule
below.

Giving Tree
Jackson Elementary will be collecting hats, mittens, and scarves for our
giving tree. If you would like to donate any items, please send them in
with your child. We will be collecting items throughout the month of
December.
Jackson Holiday Shop
Students are welcome to shop for gifts for their friends and family in
the Holiday Shop sponsored by Home and School on their scheduled
date listed below.

Absences
Please call the school office @ (330) 652-4711 to report your child off
from school. Upon return to school, students are required to bring in
a written note or medical excuse explaining their absence.
