7th GRADE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Saturday, September 20, 2014 1. Admission: Prairie Trail Middle School 8am Adults - $5.00 Students - $ 2.00 Pre-School - Free Please remind your students that their sport passes will not be honored. 2. Concessions: There will be a concession stand available to players/coaches/parents. 3. Awards: A championship trophy and individual medals for 1st place and medals for 2nd place will be awarded immediately following the conclusion of the tournament. Coaches of teams that earn 1st and 2nd place should be prepared to present individual medals to team members. Fifteen medals will be supplied for both 1st and 2nd place. Pool Play Competition: Due to tournament timing and lack of team history for participating teams, seeding will not be based on past performance or current records, but were “drawn by lot” with a preference to mix district teams to provide for diverse pools. Pool Play matches will consist of two rally score games to 25 points with a 27-point cap. Warm-ups for the next game will begin upon completion of the previous game and availability of both teams. If a tie occurs, seeding will be determined by the following criteria: 1. Head to head pool play competition. 2. Overall point differential in the head to head match 3. Overall point differential in pool 4. Coin toss. Both the championship and consolation bracket will consist of the best 2 out of 3 game matches. Games 1 and 2 will be to 25 points, and Game 3 will be to 15 points.
