(Nealah Griffiths) School Choir ADS choir will be performing as part of 'Songs for Freya' in Saint David's Church, Friday 30th January, 7pm. Tickets are priced at £7 and £3.50 for children with proceeds going towards The Freya Bevan Fund. – Tickets are available at Shillingfords Neath shop. FADS - (Friends of Alderman Davies School) met on Thursday 15th January to plan future fundraising events. We are planning a Valentine’s Disco (date to be confirmed ASAP but it will be during w/c 9th February) and some other fun activities. We would love to see more Friends of Alderman Davies School getting together to plan events and activities which will raise funds to enhance the children’s education experience – we are currently saving up for equipment to develop the outdoor play space and for a dedicated Godly Play area. A huge thank you to everyone who kindly donated prizes and bought tickets for the Christmas Raffle – we are so grateful for everyone’s kindness and enthusiasm. Your contributions are hugely appreciated. Mrs. Partington's Stars of the Week, this week are Ye Shan Chen and Lucas Chen who have been helping us learn so much about China already. We can't wait to learn more. She was the fastest swimmer using front crawl in the district and she is now going to compete against other schools from Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, January 24th so we wish her well!
