Africa, Canada, Europe and Peru. 5 years as Class A Harbour Pilot in Singapore and 1 year in Saudi Ports of Jeddah and Dammam as Class 1 Marine Pilot. Experience with pilot boats/tugs. Extensive self-piloting of own vessel as Master, in numerous ports in the Carribean, PNG and Japan Areas.About 6 months of ice-navigation, piloting experience in Baltic,Arctic,Hudson Bay and St.Lawrence River Area. Relevant Experience: Adequate experience ashore and at sea with successful Surveys, Internal and External Audits, and various PSC, AMSA and USCG Examinations and Inspections on ships, having Superintendents involved. worked for Japanese Owners directly, with no Social & Career Outlook: International, and multi cultural in outlook, having vast professional and HR experience with all nationalities especially Filipinos at sea. Will be able to offer at least 7 years or more of dedicated service on seagoing ships, but especially keen on working with vessels undergoing conversion from VLCC to VLOC or carrying out extensive repairs in Dry- dock/Shipyard as Master on board or preferably in shore or office based capacity. Previous Employment: Master of VLCC undergoing conversion to VLOC at Shipyard at Shekou, Shenzhen, China. Special Note: Was Master of Cape size bulkers from 1999 to 2007 and subsequently Master of a VLCC in process of conversion to VLOC at HRDD Shipyard in China in 2008. Thereafter in 2009 as an Observer for new-buyers on a VLOC for 2 months and later Master of same vessel undergoing extensive repairs in Shipyard in China. Later in 2010 for 6 months on another VLCC to VLOC conversion in another Chinese Shipyard. As such, can easily undertake responsibility as Master or Project Person associated with conversions at Shipyard as am fully familiar with conversion process/procedures and have adequate relevant experience.
