Junior of the Year Application Form Award Information: The Junior of the Year Award is to recognize a junior within the College of Engineering and Applied Science that has demonstrated initiative and leadership during his or her academic career. All juniors meeting the minimum requirements for the award below are welcome to apply. They will be awarded a $500 tuition credit during the fall semester of their senior year. Minimum Requirements for the Award: 1. Winner must be an active member of Tribunal at least one semester during the year. Committees will define the meaning of active membership for their committee and keep a list of members fulfilling these requirements. The secretary will keep a list of members fulfilling the meeting attendance requirement for active membership. OR Each College of Engineering and Applied Science Organization may nominate one junior for the award. Your organization’s president will be contacted to very sponsorship. Applicant must submit an essay of 250 words or less about “How student involvement has affected my college experience.” 4. There shall be a minimum G.P.A requirement of 2.5/4.0 for this award.
