Outline of new staffing given at introductory PAC meeting earlier in
September

Kids are settling in very well, the school is calm
•
Terry Fox run raised close to $300
•
Staffing is just about finalized
•
100 Aboriginal students in the school this year
•
Extra support for primary ESD
•
School will be getting another Special Ed teacher
•
Hiring another teacher to help with Teacher prep time ( 2
afternoons a week- Monday and Tuesday after school programs)

Maggie Chow, parent and artist would like to do an after school art
program with the primary grades, possible bussing option to downtown
area

Another parent is looking to do an after school soccer clubMondays

Gr 6/7 girls volleyball will be starting in a few weeks, no coach yet for boys

Student photos on Oct. 17th - Retakes on Oct. 27th
•
Turkey Trot: Disguise Tom Turkey and enter to win a fresh
turkey.
