APPLICATION GUIDANCE NOTES Applications to Bilbster Windfarm Community Benefit Fund can be submitted from non-profit making organisations (and individuals in certain circumstances) from within the Tannach & District Community Council area, the boundaries of which are: from the 30mph sign on the outskirts of Wick to ‘The Crook’ on the A882 Watten road, and on the A99 from the 30mph sign as far south as the entrance of ‘Bruan Lodge Farm’ and all areas within these boundaries. Terms and conditions Grants should not be used for organisations opposed to the ethos of Wind Power or any renewable energy source. Grants must not be used for personal gain Bilbster Windfarm Community Benefit Applications will be reviewed and administered by Tannach & District Community Council and an independent third party. Applications will be reviewed three times a year in March, July and October. Each application period will allocate £1000 in total. A copy of the organisation’s constitution (where applicable) and Accounts & balance sheet should accompany the application form. If your application is successful, copies of all receipts and the Feedback form must be returned to the Benefit Fund Committee within 30 days of project completion. Publicity concerning any Grant received from the Community Benefit must be approved by RWE npower renewables in advance. The RWE npower renewables logo should appear on any publicity associated with the Grant. The cost of any work carried out, or equipment purchased before the grant application has been approved, will not receive payment retrospectively. Groups or organisations are not required to be a registered charity in order to apply.
