Dear Parents and carers,
We have arranged the dates for the first general parent and carer meetings of the year please see below. These
meetings are a chance for parents, carers and grandparents to meet the teachers, find out about the curriculum
and discuss any general matters. Tomorrow you will receive the class newsletters with lots of information, so if
you can’t attend the meetings, you will still be well informed.
If you were unable to attend the meeting but wanted to chat to the teacher, please contact them directly or speak
to the office. We want to make sure all parent and carers feel they can speak to their child’s teacher and build
positive relationships. If there are ever any queries or concerns please contact the school and we will ensure these
are discussed and resolved as soon as possible.
All meetings are at 2.45pm. Please come to the school office.

A letter is also going out today about a meeting for parents and carers in Reception and Year 1. We are running
the initial meeting about reading with Mrs Anand and Sally Myatt from the local Speech and Language Base. This
is mainly for new Reception parents but would be useful for any Year 1 parents and carers who may have missed
it. This will be Thursday 17th September at 2pm. Please come to the office.
