GRADING SCALE: (As per Board of Education Policy)
93-100 = A
83-92 = B
70-82 = C
60-69 = D
00-59 = F
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR GRADE
1. Look at the online grade book. (Passwords are obtained from the office)
2. Add up your total points (all categories together). Divide by total points possible.
Multiply by 100. The online grade book is set up to do this for you.
MAKE UP WORK
Class work & lectures are now on-line. Go to Mrs. Tucci's website to see what you
missed. Some assignments may be done before you get back to school!

5. Under "Classrooms" select the title of your class.
Science Expo is the name of the local science fair, which is extra credit for Mrs. Tucci's classes.
LABS: All labs are to be completed at school. If you are absent for a lab, you will need to
see Mrs. Tucci to schedule the make-up lab. The school board policy is "a day for a day".
HELP SESSIONS ARE FREE! Ask the teacher for time. The best time to get help is BEFORE the
tests!
MATERIALS YOU NEED FOR CLASS
Carpenters must provide their own hammers to earn a pay check. You need to have the
following for class:
1. Writing tools (pens/pencils)
2. Calculator (same one you got for math class)
3. Colored pencils
4. Loose paper (for turning in assignments/labs)

HOW TO GET ALONG IN MRS. TUCCI'S CLASS
1. Follow the rules in the handbook and lab safety.
2. Be on time. 2 tardy = detention
3. Cover your book. They are expensive.
4. Bring materials with you every day.
5. Be respectful. (follow the "Golden Rule")
6. Use COMMON SENSE! Personality conflicts sometimes happen. When they interfere with the
learning process, you will be removed from class. You will not be asked to do anything
unreasonable. Cooperation is always the best option.
7. PURSES>>>>>are considered book bags when they are the same size or bigger than your text
book. Book bags must be put in the lockers (school policy)
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M GOOD IN MRS. TUCCI'S CLASS?
1. You might learn something!
2. You get extra participation points.
Please adopt a "Failure is not an option" attitude. This is a required class. Repeating a required
class is not fun and puts you behind an entire year.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M IN TROUBLE
1. Verbal warning
2. 30 minute detention AND phone call home.
3. Office Referral (you get to see the principal) and phone call home…generally, office referrals
will earn you a minimum of Sat. School.
Unsafe behavior will not be tolerated in the lab. You will receive immediate removal
and office referral. Stay safe and don't argue.
You are free to choose and free to lose.
You are responsible and accountable.
You can choose your actions, but NOT the consequences.
