Among the highlights of the student-led assembly were a song by Mrs. Sutherland and her drumming group, Division 4 singing “Where Have All The Flowers Gone?”, and a wreath ceremony performed by Division 5 that included students sharing personal stories of family members who have served their country. Many others were involved helping with audio-visual equipment, assisting with gym preparations W and set-up, and making decorations and displays. The students’ behaviour a r during the assembly was exemplary, showing a great deal of thoughtfulness and n respect towards those who have sacrificed so much in the past, and those who i continue to be impacted by war and conflict around the world today. It nwas truly a community effort and a memorable Remembrance Day tribute. g HAPPENINGS AROUND THE SCHOOL CHRISTMAS CONCERT This year’s Christmas Concert is being held Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 1:00 pm.
