STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO CARRY A POSITIVE BALANCE TO PURCHASE
LUNCH.
Due to increasing costs and new rules and regulations mandated by the USDA for the
National School Lunch program, we are forced to raise our lunch prices for the 20112012 school year.
Lunch including a carton of milk is offered daily.
Milk may be purchased separately for $0.40.
The cost for lunch at the Ledgewood, Stone Creek, and Kinnikinnick Schools is $2.25.
The cost for lunch at Roscoe Middle School is $2.50.
An extra serving of the main dish may be purchased at Kinnikinnick and Roscoe
Middle Schools for an additional $2.00.
A second lunch may be purchased at Roscoe Middle School for $3.00.
Roscoe Middle School also offers a la carte items ranging in price from $0.50 to $1.25.
Breakfast is available at Roscoe Middle School for $1.50.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, Free and Reduced Lunch Applications will
be available online via the District website (www.kinn131.org) under Lunch link
beginning July 27, 2011 or at any school after August 10, 2011.
Reminders are sent home weekly at LW/SC/KN and posted at RMS. You may contact your
child’s school from 9-10:30 to check balances or email inquires to lmcgill@kinnschools.org.
Students should turn in lunch money first thing in the morning to their teacher. Please put
student’s full name on envelope.
