VME Book Fair & Parent Lunch
The Book Fair is coming to VME! You are invited to attend our Book Fair and Parent Lunch
taking place September 16th thru September 18th. All families in Preschool thru 8th grade are
invited to attend. Please refer to the schedule below for your date and time and please try to
attend according to the family schedule.
On the day you are arriving please bring lunch for yourself and your children. There will be tables
set up on the second floor for lunch or there is limited seating under the gazebo outside, you may
also want to bring a blanket and have a picnic lunch (weather permitting.) After lunch head over
to the Lecture Hall where the Book Fair will be set-up. Students that are not participating in the
luncheon with their parents will have lunch in the cafeteria with their class as usual.
Students will see a DVD during Library time about some of the featured books that are at the Fair.

about the VME Book Fair and to see the selection of books available. You can also order books
online and have books shipped FREE to VME from September 11th thru October 1st 2013.
Profits from our fair benefit the VME Library and reading programs. Again this year we will have
a limited number of specially selected books available to purchase and donate to the library.
Teachers will also make up “Wish Lists” for their classroom libraries. If families are interested in
donating to their classroom an opportunity will be available at the Book Fair.
Join your child for lunch and a visit to the Book Fair! It’s a great way to connect your kids with the
joy of reading and spend some school time together. See you there! The VME FTA
