Wi-Fi Communication Solution
Dear SolarEdge Customers,
SolarEdge is happy to introduce a Wi-Fi solution for wireless communication between the SolarEdge
inverter and a Wi-Fi router. This communication option enhances the SolarEdge communication offering
which includes Ethernet and ZigBee options for inverter-server communication.
The Wi-Fi Communication Solution is installed in the inverter, allowing a wireless connection between the
inverter and a Wi-Fi router, saving the time and cost associated with installing an Ethernet connection.
The Wi-Fi solution will be shipping from May 30th 2014.
Connecting an Inverter using the Wi-Fi Kit
The Wi-Fi solution has the following features:
1. Extended communication range with external antenna
2. Wi-Fi module installed within the inverter enclosure for outdoor resilience
3. Robust communications with support of 802.11b/g/n standards
The following Wi-Fi Communication Solution options are available:

Kit with a Wi-Fi module and an antenna, available under the following part number: SE1000-WIFI01
Pre-assembled in the inverter (single phase inverters only), available under the following part
number: SExxxx-RW000NWN2
