VETERINARY SCIENCE
Introduction
• Veterinary Science is a medical profession that deals with the
control of disease in animals.
• It also involves the breeding and scientific handling of
livestock.
• Veterinarians work in hospitals and clinics. They may even

farms or wild life sanctuaries. Often they have to work
outdoors particularly when they are dealing with large
animals.
