U12 TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Matches will be played using a 9v9 format and played on 80x50yd pitches

Each Club will be permitted to bring a maximum of 16 Players and 4 staff

Teams will be divided in to two groups of five teams; cach club will play every team in their group
once

Matches will comprise of 2 x 15 minutes

The offside rule will be applied via the use of an ‘offside line’, placed approximately half-way between
the half-way line and the penalty area

Substitutes – teams will be able to use all 7 substitutes using a roll-on roll-off format

Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win and one point for a draw. Where teams are level on points in
their group the following criteria will be used:
(i) goal difference
(ii) goals scored
(iii) result of the mutual match

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals

The rest of the teams will play-off in a Plate Competition, whereby each team will carry forward the

points gained from the group stages, and play each team in the opposite group once (3 to 5 ). The
team finishing with the highest number of points will be the Plate Winner
U16 GIRLS AND U18 BOYS TOURNAMENT FORMATS


Each team will comprise of 10 Players and 2 staff

Teams will be divided in to two groups of four teams; each team will play every team in their group
once

Matches will comprise of 2 x 20 minutes


the half-way line and the penalty area
