물어 가로되
18. Then the Sadducees, who say there is no
resurrection, came to him with a question.
19. 선생님이여 모세가 우리에게 써 주기를 사람의
형이 자식이 없이 아내를 두고 죽거든 그 동생이
그 아내를 취하여 형을 위하여 후사를 세울찌니라
하였나이다
19. "Teacher," they said, "Moses wrote for us that
if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no
children, the man must marry the widow and
have children for his brother.
20. 칠 형제가 있었는데 맏이 아내를 취하였다가
후사가 없이 죽고
20. Now there were seven brothers. The first one
married and died without leaving any children.
21. 둘째도 그 여자를 취하였다가 후사가 없이 죽
고 세째도 그렇게 하여
21. The second one married the widow, but he
also died, leaving no child. It was the same with
the third
22. 일곱이 다 후사가 없었고 최후에 여자도 죽었
나이다
22. In fact, none of the seven left any children.
Last of all, the woman died too.
23. 일곱 사람이 다 그를 아내로 취하였으니 부활
을 당하여 저희가 살아날 때에 그 중에 뉘 아내가
되리이까
23. At the resurrection1 whose wife will she be,
since the seven were married to her?"
24. 예수께서 가라사대 너희가 성경도 하나님의
능력도 알지 못하므로 오해함이 아니냐
24. Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because
you do not know the Scriptures or the power of
God?
25. 사람이 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 때에는 장가
도 아니가고 시집도 아니가고 하늘에 있는 천사들
과 같으니라
25. When the dead rise, they will neither marry
nor be given in marriage; they will be like the
angels in heaven.
26. 죽은 자의 살아난다는 것을 의논할찐대 너희가
모세의 책 중 가시나무떨기에 관한 글에 하나님께
서 모세에게 이르시되 나는 아브라함의 하나님이요
이삭의 하나님이요 야곱의 하나님이로라 하신 말씀
을 읽어보지 못하였느냐
26. Now about the dead rising-have you not read
in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush,
how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham,
the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?
27. 하나님은 죽은 자의 하나님이 아니요 산 자의
하나님이시라 너희가 크게 오해하였도다 하시니라
27. He is not the God of the dead, but of the
living. You are badly mistaken!"

찬송하리로다 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지
하나님이 그 많으신 긍휼대로 예수 그리스도의 죽은
자 가운데서 부활하심으로 말미암아 우리를 거듭나게
하사 산 소망이 있게 하시며 썩지 않고 더럽지 않고
쇠하지 아니하는 기업을 잇게 하시나니 곧 너희를
위하여 하늘에 간직하신 것이라 (벧전 1:3-4)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In
his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and
into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept
in heaven for you, (1Pet 1:3-4)

24. 예수께서 가라사대 너희가 성경도
하나님의 능력도 알지 못하므로 오해함이
아니냐
24. Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because
you do not know the Scriptures or the power of
God?
믿음으로 아브라함은 부르심을 받았을 때에
순종하여 장래 기업으로 받을 땅에 나갈새 갈
바를 알지 못하고 나갔으며 (히 11:8)
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place
he would later receive as his inheritance,
obeyed and went, even though he did not know
where he was going. (Heb 11:8)
믿음으로 모세는 장성하여 바로의 공주의 아들이라 칭함을
거절하고 도리어 하나님의 백성과 함께 고난 받기를 잠시
죄악의 낙을 누리는 것보다 더 좋아하고 그리스도를 위하여
받는 능욕을 애굽의 모든 보화보다 더 큰 재물로 여겼으니
이는 상 주심을 바라봄이라
(히 11:24-26)
By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known
as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated
along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the
pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the
sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt,
because he was looking ahead to his reward. (Heb 11:24-26 )
믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보지 못하는 것들의
증거니 선진들이 이로써 증거를 얻었으니라 믿음으로
모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가
아나니 보이는 것은 나타난 것으로 말미암아 된 것이
아니니라(히 11:1-3)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of
what we do not see. This is what the ancients were
commended for. By faith we understand that the universe
was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was
not made out of what was visible. (Heb 11:1-3)
저희가 이제는 더 나은 본향을 사모하니 곧
하늘에 있는 것이라 (히 11:16)
But they were looking for a better place, a
heavenly homeland (Heb 11:16)
바리새인들이 하나님의 나라가 어느 때에 임하나이까
묻거늘 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 하나님의 나라는 볼
수 있게 임하는 것이 아니요 또 여기 있다 저기 있다고도
못하리니 하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있느니라
(눅 17:20-21)
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the
kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom
of God does not come with your careful observation, nor
will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the
kingdom of God is within you." (Luke17:20-21)
27. 하나님은 죽은 자의 하나님이 아니요
산 자의 하나님이시라 너희가 크게
오해하였도다 하시니라
27. He is not the God of the dead, but of the

여호와의 사자가 떨기나무 불꽃 가운데서 그에게 나타나시니라
그가 보니 떨기나무에 불이 붙었으나 사라지지 아니하는지라
이에 가로되 내가 돌이켜 가서 이 큰 광경을 보리라 떨기나무가
어찌하여 타지 아니하는고 하는 동시에 여호와께서 그가 보려고
돌이켜 오는 것을 보신지라 하나님이 떨기나무 가운데서 그를
불러 가라사대 모세야 모세야 하시매 그가 가로되 내가 여기
있나이다 (출 3:2-4)
There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire
from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire
it did not burn up. So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this
strange sight--why the bush does not burn up." When the LORD
saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within
the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am.“
(Exod 3:2-4)
모세가 하나님께 고하되 내가 이스라엘
자손에게 가서 이르기를 너희 조상의 하나님이
나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하면 그들이 내게
묻기를 그의 이름이 무엇이냐 하리니 내가
무엇이라고 그들에게 말하리이까 (출 3:13)
Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say
to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and
they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell
them?" (Exod 3:13)
내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 가로되 보라 하나님의
장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 저희와 함께
거하시리니 저희는 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히
저희와 함께 계셔서 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 씻기시매 다시
사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시
있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라 (계 21:3-4)
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the
dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will
be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their
God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no
more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of
things has passed away. (Rev 21:3-4)
하나님이 가라사대 이리로 가까이 하지 말라
너의 선 곳은 거룩한 땅이니 네 발에서 신을
벗으라 (출 3:5)
"Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your
sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy
ground. (Exod 3:5)
