It is important to fully familiarise yourself with the test procedures before you start . If you are unsure on any points. Seek assistance! The Hybrid Health Check (HHC) function in TD3 is Role and Condition based. If the role and condition criteria are not met you will not be able to access the HHC functions. 1. You must have the correct role. (See Role matrix slide) 2. An appropriate vehicle must be connected to TD3 via GTS diagnostic tool. 3. VIN must be validated in TD3 4. TOYOTA Prius 2-3 & plug-in, Auris Hybrid models are now included 5. Lexus Models will be included in the spring of 2013 TOYOTA MOTOR EUROPE TOYOTA 2 Roles Matrix Production: Roles enabled for HHC access O = Enabled X = Not Enabled R= Read Only TOYOTA MOTOR EUROPE TOYOTA 3 Safety Before you start ! 1. Familiarise yourself fully with the complete HHC procedures before working on a vehicle ! 2. Observe safety precautions in the workshop whilst conducting the HHC tests! 3. Pay particular attention to the hybrid battery insulation test. This is a full throttle load test and requires constant attention by the tester! TOYOTA MOTOR EUROPE TOYOTA 4 Hybrid Health Check (1) 1. Enter and validate VIN 2. Connect to vehicle 3. Open vehicle status check Hybrid Health Check (2) Note that the vehicle status check has two new fields. 1. Hybrid Health Check reports 2. Hybrid Health Check 3. Select Hybrid Health Check to open the HHC. Hybrid Health Check (3) You are now ready to start the HCC. Please follow the instructions carefully for each step. Click the start button to begin. You May need to wait for the DTC check to complete. The start button remains black until the DTC check is complete. Then it turns green.
