Working Age Population

It refers to the population above a specified minimum age (usually 15 years old and over) who could produce the goods and services if there was a demand for their labor and if they desire to participate in such activity.

 Persons 15 years old and over who during the reference period were either employed or unemployed

 Persons 15 years old and over who are neither employed or unemployed, e.g., full-time students, stay home housewives, retirees, etc .

3 CATEGORIES OF STATUS IN EMPLOYMENT

1. Employed persons who have worked at least one hour or with a job but not at work during the reference period.

2. Unemployed

3. Not in the labor force persons without job, available and looking for work during the reference period.
