C&T Inspection Procedures
• Responsible person on surface to monitor
location of miners underground (75.1600-1)
• Two way communication inside RA (75.1600-3)
• Identifying number on miner’s brass tag worn
on belt matches identifying number in system
(75.1715)
• Minimum safe distance to prevent interference
with blasting circuits (75.1323(a))
• C&T systems shall remain operational during
fan stoppages or a mine power outage (75.313)
