- SIP Phone can NOT be recorded automatically.(*1)
- VM has to be KX-TVA/TVM using Digital (PT) integration.
- VM DTMF integration does NOT support automatic recording.(*1)
- Centralized voice mail does NOT support automatic recording.(*1)
- VM for automatic recording can be selected for each extension
using PCMC. (*2) Default is disabled.
- Mailbox number to record can be assigned for each extension using
PCMC. Default is same as extension number.

Accounting (free of charge).
For example “911” in North America.

talking. However version 5 supports SMDR
after dialing AND after talking, when dialed
number is assigned in “Emergency Dial” table.
- System option programming is required.
- Alert is displayed twice.
- Duration is output as zero second after dialing.
- Version up is NOT required for CA Call
Accounting software.

TDE-NCP version 5 improves SIP Trunk feature.
- T.38 disable mode is supported.
- Countermeasure for caller ID with alphabet is supported.
(Alphabet is removed.)
- When SIP trunk incoming call is forwarded to mobile network through
SIP trunk, incoming CO callers CLIP (A-number) can be sent using
the diversion header feature.
- Refer (Transfer) is supported for SIP trunk.
These features may not work depend on specification of SIP network.
Field test is required.

11. Walking Extension as “Hot Desking”

TDA “Walking Extension” does not support “Service Out”.
Therefore other user can make call and receive call after leaving desk.
TDE-NCP “Walking Extension” has supported “Service Out” for
“Hot Desking” since version 1.
Extension dial lock and DND are assigned automatically by “Service Out”
operation. They are cleared by “Service In” operation.
Call can be redirected to VM if DND.
However “Display Lock” is not applied, even when “Service Out”.
Therefore other user can see call log and listen to SVM message.
=>TDE-NCP version 5 supports “Display Lock” when “Service Out”.

12. CLIP when Transfer

If VM is used as centralized VM, extension user in remote office wants to
see caller ID of caller instead of VM extension number.
Therefore “Send CLIP of CO caller” should be enabled.
On the other hands, when extension user transfers CO call to cellular and
if CO Caller CLIP “01-xxx-yyyy” is informed to telephone company “03”,
some telephone company disconnects the call.
Therefore “Send CLIP of CO caller” should be disabled.
=> TDE-NCP version 5 sends “CLIP of CO caller” always regardless
setting, if call is transferred by VM.

13. Incoming Call LCD
Technical
Information
< Technical Specifications >
Caller name or ID / DID name / CO line number is displayed on PT LCD.
They can be switched by “Transfer” key or “INFO” soft key.
If user presses the button by happen, this becomes cause of trouble,
because last mode is displayed at first from next call.
“My phone does not displays caller ID always…”
=> TDE-NCP version 5 does not save display mode, even after PT
operation.
- Display switch operation itself is kept.
- Display mode can be assigned using PCMC.
- “Automatic save after PT operation” is kept by PCMC system
reserved bit. Default is new specification.

14. Incoming Call LCD (SLT)

When PBX informs caller name using Russian character based on extension
name or speed dial name, “?????????” is displayed on Panasonic SLT.
=> TDE-NCP version 5 does not inform caller name to SLT by default.
This default change is applied only to NCP500-1000RU/UA,
TDE100-200RU/UA and TDE600RU/UC.

15. ICD Group Log when VM answer
Technical

< Technical Specifications >
When incoming ICD group call is not answered by ICD member extension
and VM answers the call, incoming call log is not recorded to “ICD group call
log key”. When the caller does not leave message to VM, extension user can
not know the missed call, even if the caller is VIP.
If anyone does not answer the incoming ICD group call, call log is recorded
to “ICD group call log key” as missed call.
If extension user in ICD group answers the incoming ICD group call, call log
is recorded to “ICD group call log key” as answered call.
=> TDE-NCP version 5 records ICD group call, even when overflow
destination answers.
