Great White Shark
• Great White Sharks are the largest predatory fish in the
sea.

Hammerhead Shark
• Found in temperate and tropical waters, far
off shore and near shorelines.
• Hammerhead sharks use their oddly shaped
heads to improve their ability to find prey.
• There are nine identified species of
hammerhead sharks.
• Hammerhead sharks live to be the ages of 20
to 30 years old.
• Hammerhead sharks grow to be 13 to 20 feet.
Comparing the Two
• Neither the Great White Shark nor the
Hammerhead shark attack people. If they do,
it’s because they mistake them for their prey.
• Both the Hammerhead Shark and the Great
White Shark are born with 12-20 siblings.
• Both the Hammerhead Shark and the Great
White Shark are at high risk of extinction.
Contrasting the Two

head.
