Ss give other examples of words describing personality traits. T writes the answers on the board and asks Ss to raise their hands if any of these words describe them. T explains that Ss are going to take a personality to practice the use of quiz. (handout 1) Ss read the ten statements in the adjectives, gerunds, quiz silently while T circulates, answering vocabulary and infinitives to or comprehension questions. T writes the vocabulary describe personalities items that Ss asked about on the board. 2. Ss work alone to complete the quiz, adding two to stimulate critical more items of their own thinking 3. Ss compare their quiz results with a partner. 4. T distributes cards with adjectives. Ss are required to expand vocabulary to use the statements in the quiz and their own and practice the examples to explain the meaning of the given pronunciation of the adjectives.
