disease, etc. In the " Charak Samhita " he has described the
medicinal qualities and functions of 100,000 herbal plants. He has

" If you Mess up - It's Not your
Parents Fault. “Bill Gates.
16
• Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!
• Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about
your self-esteem. The world will expect
you to accomplish something BEFORE
you feel good about yourself.
• Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a
year right out of high school. You won't
be a vice-president with a car phone until
you earn both.
• Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is
tough, wait till you get a boss
17
• Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your
dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word
for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
• Rule 6 : If you mess up, it's not your parents'
fault , so don't whine about your mistakes, learn
from them.
• Rule 7 : Before you were born, your parents weren't
as boring as they are now. They got that way from
paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and
listening to you talk about how cool you thought you
were. So before you save the rain forest from the
parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing
the closet in your own room.
18
• Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with
winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some
schools, they have abolished failing grades and
they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to
get the right answer. This doesn't bear the
slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
• Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You
don't get summers off and very few employers
are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF.
Do that on your own time.
• Rule 10 : Television is NOT real life. In real life
people actually have to leave the coffee shop
19
and go to jobs.

PRINCIPLES OF LIFE
• No point using limited life to chase unlimited money.
• No point earning so much money you cannot live to
spend it .
• Money is not yours until you spend it.
• When you are young, you use your health to chase
your wealth ; when you are old, you use your wealth to
buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.
• How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how
little he needs .
• No point working so hard to provide for the people you
have no time to spend with .
28
Learn from the mistakes of
others.
Trust me... you can't live long
enough to make them all
yourself.

Everyone knows than an ant can lift

Hardly anything.
That's why, when it comes to really
heavy lifting, ants work best as a
team.
CORPORATE LESSONS
Here’s three lessons from large corporations to
help you survive change….
CORPORATE LESSON 1
•A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day.
•A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him,
"Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day
long?”
•The crow answered: "Sure, why not.”
•
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the
crow, and rested.
•All of a sudden, a fox appeared,
•
Jumped on the rabbit... and ate it.
CORPORATE LESSON 1
•Moral of the story is….
•To be sitting and doing nothing
•you must be sitting very, very
high up.
CORPORATE LESSON 2
•A turkey was chatting with a bull.
•"I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the
turkey, "but I haven't got the energy.”
•"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied
the bull. They're packed with nutrients."
•The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually
gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree.
• The next day, after eating more dung, he reached the second branch.
•Finally after a fortnight, there he was proudly perched at the top of the
tree
•Soon he was spotted by a farmer
• Who promptly shot the turkey out of the tree.
CORPORATE LESSON 2
•Moral of the story:
•Bullshit might get you to the top,
•but it won't keep you there.
CORPORATE LESSON 3
•A little bird was flying south for the winter.
•It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field.
•While it was lying there, a
cow came by
•and dropped some
dung on it.
• As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to
realise how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out!
•He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

•A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
•Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of
cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him!
CORPORATE LESSON 3
•The morals of this story are:
•1) Not everyone who drops shit
on you is your enemy.
•2) Not everyone who gets you
out of shit is your friend.
•3) And when you're in deep shit,
keep your mouth shut

People are often
unreasonable, illogical
and self-centered;

If you are kind,
people may accuse

If you are successful, you will
win some false friends and
some true enemies;

What you spend years building,

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
