Also published as “The Hounds of Zaroff” Rhetorical Terms: 1. rhetoric: the study of writing or speaking; a type or mode of language or speech 2. analogy: resemblance in some particulars between things otherwise unlike (similes and metaphors are 2 types of analogies) 3. metaphor: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness between them (I.e.
