40k for 46 years experience. Rates of £25 ph are common.

• RICS salary survey – geomatics now mid table (commercial property top, rural surveyors bottom)

• Chartered surveyors earn up to 20% more than non-chartered colleagues (and are charged out to clients at a premium)
