Okay Industrial Systems B.V. is involved by the execution of a safe and healthy working environment for own as
temporary employees, third parties and property against injury and damage, as applicable in our industry and
follows the legal requirements.
We will strive to set the standard in safety. For this purpose is a safety system in accordance with VCA* version
2008/5.1 implemented and applied.
Our goal is to eliminate all possible hazards such as:
- Personal injuries
- Occupational disease
- Fire
- Damage to property
- Damage by fraud
- Environment damage
Accident losses can be controlled by good management. Controlling damage and accidents is the responsibility
of the management and any temporary employees together. It is a common task to bring security to a higher

The management of Okay Industrial Systems is required to the safety, that will be placed, be required by law or

Okay Industrial Systems is a Dutch international operating based company, with many years of branch
experience, established under the law of the kingdom of the Netherlands.
Founded in the seventies, Okay Industrial Systems was from its origin a company mainly active in the field of
hoisting and driving equipment for cranes, winches, machinery and ships. For a long period of time, new
building and repairs of various systems were the main targets of the company.
Okay Industrial Systems is an independent electrical company, specialized in engineering, manufacturing
and supply of variable speed drive systems for transport, heavy material handling, industrial utilities and
marine applications. Service, maintenance and repair activities enhance to a total commitment.
The company is very well informed about developments in the fields of electrical engineering and industrial
automation. They are able to complete all sizes of projects and, if required, to go offshore and abroad.
Working according standards as ISO 9001 certification, a practical system of company procedures has been
established. Okay Industrial Systems works according to the *CE-norm.

Engineering and design
The engineers of Okay Industrial Systems support the projects by means of AUTOCAD and E-PLAN
computer design systems. They make studies, proposals and designs. They also lead and coordinate the
projects.
In consultation with the customer a set of desires and demands will be put together, which will be
continuously tested.
If required, training for personnel, support and after sales can be provided.
Industrial automation
The engineers also develop and complete Scada / HMI- and PLC-controlled installations, in the hardware
and software field. We provides both Industrial Automation, hardware and software, including services. The
services include design, implementation, installation, training and pre/after sales support.
Manufacturing of switchboards and control panels
Okay Industrial Systems manufactures low voltage electrical switchboards in its manufacturing facility,
located at Heemskerk.
The facility specializes in producing custom-built switchboards comprehensive inspection and test plans are
completed by qualified staff on each switchboard and these are available to our customers on request.
Okay Industrial Systems assembles switchboard and control panels, always according to the latest valid
norms such as NEN 1010, IEC standard and to the class requirements by the client.
Electrical Installations
The company provides, with an enthusiastic team, for building, rebuilding, maintenance, service and aftersales. The company provides a safe and reliable electrical service which ensures that the work is complete
and in accordance with the relevant codes. This scope of work includes assembling, installing, testing and
maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures.

Electrical installation for the floating
grab crane “Skyline”

Okay Industrial Systems delivered and installed a complete new electrical installation for the
floating grab crane. The capacity of the crane is 25 ton and is placed on a pontoon.
The drive system of the crane is based on frequency converters with squirrel cage motors.
Installation configuration:

Hoisting
- 1 x AC motor of 315 kW.

Closing
- 1 x AC motor of 315 kW.

Slewing
- 3 x AC motors of 55 kW.

Boomhoist
- 1 x AC motor of 110 kW for the purpose of the hydraulic pump.






Project: Main control panels Saloonship Hilda
Hybride propulsion for the saloonship
“Hilda”.
Principle Hilda Company Amsterdam.
After a complete constructive restauration, Okay Industrial Systems delivered and installed a complete new
hydride propulsion installation for the saloonship Hilda. During canal conditions the saloonship sails on the
electric propulsion obtaining energy from the batteries.
When the batteries are low, the relative small diesel engine starts automatically and the generator form the
diesel engine charge the batteries. If the saloonship is ashore, the batteries can be recharged. The electrical
propulsion offers benefits as reduces fuel usage and less noise during the voyage and is an environmentally
friendly choice.
Installation configuration:

Project: Flywheel Energy Storage solution on crane system.
Energy Storage solution for the Grab Crane
“Cornelis Tromp”.
Principle Maja Stuwadoors Amsterdam.
After the company CCM, Centre for Concepts in Mechatronics had built the flywheel, Okay Industrial
Systems Installed the electrical part of the new Energy Storage System in the grab crane.
During the work there was a close collaboration for the development and construction of the flywheel
installation. Modifications in the installation and intensive testing were part of the work.
Installation executed with:

Hoisting
- 1 x AC motor of 315 kW.

Closing
- 1 x AC motor of 315 kW.

Slewing
- 3 x AC motors of 55 kW.

Boomhoist
- 1 x AC motor of 110 kW for the purpose of the hydraulic pump.

CCM High Speed Flywheel, composed of composite material. The complete flywheel system is
based on a combination of a high speed flywheel for on-board leveling and brake energy recovery.
