Cortus was founded in 2006 to develop and commercialize the
patented WoodRoll® technology in biomass gasification
The WoodRoll® technology has been verified by:
• Technology assessment studies by a major engineering
consultancy firm that also identified it as "beyond state-of-theart“
• Technology tests
• Lab scale at KTH (Royal University of Technology, Stockholm)
• 150 kW feasibility (2009/2010)
• 500 kW plant (2011-), Köping
The WoodRoll® technology is based upon proven industrial
technology put together in a new fashion.
