Install .NET Framework 3.5 - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/, Click
on “Election Commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to
http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using ROAC/DEO/CEO username and
password

Install Crystal Reports Runtime - Available for download at http://eci.nic.in/,
Click on “election commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to
http://eciofficers.nic.in/ and login using the original RO-AC/DEO/CEO
username and original password which is also used for downloading the
EVM Data Entry application

Internet broadband connection
1. Download Counting Application from http://eci.nic.in/, Click on “election
commission Officers Page” link on this page or go to http://eciofficers.nic.in/
2. Login using Genesys original RO-AC/DEO/CEO username and original
password sent to you all first time by CEO office( Not the changed
password)
3. Under the heading “Counting Application ”, Click on “Trends and
Result Dissemination Application for General Election to State Assembly
Election and Loksabha” link to download.
To Install double click the installer file “Counting Assembly Election.exe”Open Application from
(A Shortcut will also be created automatically in Desktop)
All Programs->Counting Assembly Elections->Counting.exe
Login Screen: It begins with validation page where the credentials entered by
the RO-AC/DEO/CEO.
You can open the manual by clicking on User Manuals link
If wrong Username/password is entered, then user has to input
case sensitive text from the image along with username and
password.
The application opens main page to display the following options under
Data Entry Form
1 Enter Round Schedule
2 Counting Data entry form
3 Postal Ballot data entry form
4 Result Declaration
Reports for monitoring purpose are available only at DEO/CEO level
1. Enter Round Schedule
Invoked from: - Login ->Data entry Form->Enter Round Schedule
Entering the scheduled number of rounds of the Assembly Constituency.
2. Counting Data entry form
Invoked from: - login ->Data Entry Form->Counting Data Entry
(i.) Cumulative Round wise votes should be entered at each counting center.
3 Postal Ballot data entry form
Invoked from: - Login>Data Entry Form->Postal Ballot Data Entry
(i) RO has to enter the postal ballot votes for each candidate for AC and click
on Finalise button.
(ii) Until or unless postal ballot is not finalized, Result cannot be declared .
4 Result Declaration
Invoked from: - Login>Counting Data Entry->Result Declared

Result Declared button is enabled only after postal ballots for your AC is finalized
List of ACs – Result Not Declared and Postal Ballot not Finalised
Number of ACs for which Result is Not declared
Invoked from: - Login Reports
List of ACs – Postal Ballot is not yet Finalized
This report only contains the AC details where postal ballot is not yet finalized.
AC wise Candidate Vote Details
Audit Log
This report contains logged in user name , system IP Address, Login date and Time, Login
Status and Logout date and time.
Summary
The application opens main page to display the following options under Data Entry

RO AC/DEO/CEO will be allowed to login Trends and Result
