Company in the world.
President of K-Marine Co., Ltd. Would like to take this opportunity to thank you in anticipation of your

K-Marine Co., Ltd was established in 1989 years as Supplier and Owner Protective Agent of Teekay
Shipping Own Vessel in Korea. K-marine co., ltd. Was reborn in 2004 years to provide for convenient of
clients variety demand in field of Marine (Shipping) Trading and to diversify the business scope.
In addition, k-marine was appointed agency of MMHE-SAMSUNG(MS.LNG) Shipyard at Malaysia and
IMC-YY in China & UNITAI in Thailand.
K-Marine which
designated as the representative agent of various maker of all around ship machinery are now in the
process of going international and seeking overseas channel as supplier of Marine Business.

management & Teekay Shipping Vessels (most of Korea built ship) since year of 1989
and started supplier for spare parts of the distinguished Shipping Company of LNGC in
Korea “SK Shipping Co., Ltd. & Han-jin Shipping Co., Ltd. From year of 2004.
On bases of the long term experience since year of 1989, we are confident that K-Marine

In resent shipping market, Shipping Agents are usually nominated by chaterer’s recommendation and
request, Therefore agents used not to give 100% satisfaction to ship owner because time and service
is more likely to be contributed to charterer’s interest. To solve this unpleasant case, we would like
give Owner solution, called “Owner Protective agent System.”
Owner protective Agent is Managing Owner Service Matter which is included the crew Owner Service
Matters Agreement has been made between Teekay Shipping Canada and K-Marine Co., Ltd.
As per this Agreement since year of 1989,K-Marine Co., Ltd. Has been served as Owner Protective
Agent, and has managed Owner Service Matter of tanker Vessel of Teekay shipping own vessel calling
in Korea, 80~100 vessels per year and have been in the process or going diversification of Agent
Business since year of 2004
◇ CARGO / SAFETY SUPERVISION FOR VESSEL
Korean Oil refineries have requested a qualified cargo / safety supervisor who have a good command
of English as native speaker to supervise safe operation, liaise between ship and terminal / external
parties to prevent any argument, claim which may caused by miscommunication & miss-operation
between ship and terminal/external parties.
