About ITC Oltenia Cluster
Initiators: ARIES - Romanian Association for Electronic & Software Industry,
ARoTT- Romanian Association for Technological Transfer, and Innovation,
University of Craiova, Craiova Municipality, Business and Technological
Incubator, Ro4Europe
A total of 38 members.
ITC Oltenia Cluster Scope:
 Increase companies competitiveness in ICT sector
 promote electronic and software products, innovation, research results in
the field of technology transfer and development of institutional policy,
 regional development through the interconnection of knowledge,
technologies and people.

Founded in 2004, Oltenia Subsidiary (ARIES Oltenia) is the association of
electronics and software companies in the S-W region of Romania.
The main objective of ARIES Oltenia is to improve cooperation relations
between Romanian and foreign companies.
Many partners in the cross-border region Romania – Bulgaria
Activity domain:
 Engineering, software and electronics R&D for automation and IT
systems, e-content
 "turn key" solutions for the developed systems
 Consultancy and software distribution; cooperative work solutions (for
projects, etc.),
Internet marketing and promotion, business consulting, multimedia,
translation,
 International projects: FP6/FP7, Riti Access, Eureka, Leonardo, Minerva,
etc.
Coordinated more than 20 cross border projects Romania-Bulgaria
becoming the main regional player.
