The SITE must contain new generation RFPs only to allow CAT-iq activation. Limitations : • RFPs manage only 4 wide band audio channels (instead of 8 channels in narrow band) • You must not mix CAT-iq sites and non CAT-iq sites inside a cluster • Wide band audio is available only if all parties involved are compatible, eg. Call Serveur, caller and called are G.722 compatible • The DECT-XQ activation and the CAT-iq activation are not compatible simultaneously © Aastra – 2012 SIP-DECT 4.0 Solution Codecs Support of Codecs VoIP : • G.722 (10, 20, 30 ms) • G.711 (10, 20, 30 ms) • G.729 (10, 20, 30 ms) G.729 is licensed on OMM G.722 only with new generation RFPs (RFP 35,36,37,43) et le terminal 650c G.723 no more supported as from R4.0 © Aastra – 2012 SIP-DECT 4.0 Solution 3 party conference by the OMM New function for 3 party conference in SIP 1 Put on Hold 2 Inside OMM 3 Conference Menu 4 Conf. ressources in the RFPs 5 Both calls are Transfered to Conf. room Raccroché Remaining users stay in the conference untill they hang up New generation RFPs only Conference bridge in new generation RFPs © Aastra – 2012 SIP-DECT 4.0 Solution DECT Free-Seating Login / Logout in the DECT network Access by FAC 1 + extension + PIN code 1 2 Abo 300 1 3 4 DECT user must be configured with the right « dislodgeable» on A5000 side A user can’t log off on a IP/SIP Aastra terminal and log in on a DECT terminal Nota : 1 configured into the OMM © Aastra – 2012 SIP-DECT 4.0 & IP DECT 2.1 Solutions Releases compatibility A5000 R5.3 A5000 R5.4 A5000 R5.4 SP1 IP-DECT R 2.1 SIP-DECT R 4.0 × × RFP 32/34 (1) RFP 35/36/37 × × RFP 43 WLAN × × A610/620/630d (2) (2) A612/622/632d (2) (3) (2) (3) A650c (2) (3) (2) (3) Notes (1) RFP 32/34 compatible with SIP-DECT 4.0, with 1 RFP 35,36,37 or 43 to host the OMM 4.0 software (2) A61x/62x/63xd/650c compatible with IP DECT 2.1 and Aastra 5000 TDM DECT (3) A622/632d/650c are not DOA in OMM 2.1 © Aastra – 2012 SIP-DECT 4.0 Solution Capacities OMM on RFP OMM on Server DECT RFPs 256 2048 DECT/WLAN RFPs 256 2048 A6xxd/c Terminals 500 4500 A142d Terminal 500 4500 Other terminals (GAP) 500 (no roaming over 256 RFPs) 3 / RFP 5 / dedicated RFP 3 / RFP 5 / dedicated RFP Conf. rooms © Aastra – 2012 Thank you ! 8 April 2015 Title of the presentation © Aastra – 2012 23
