You can use MSCA with the majority of Oracle’s suite of manufacturing modules, including Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS). This figure illustrates how MSCA integrates with Oracle’s manufacturing modules. The example also shows just a few of the many transactions that you can perform using MSCA. 5 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential MOBILE SUPPLY CHAIN APPLICATIONS KEYBOARD FEATURES Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) includes multiple commands that are accessed by function keys and control action buttons. Psion has taken the most commonly used action keys and created a keyboard designed for ease of navigation for the end user. For example, to perform the action of List of Values, the user would have to press the ‘CTRL’ key and then the ‘L’ key on a unit. On the OMNII™ for Oracle keyboard, the end user simply presses the ‘LV’ key. All key mapping is done in the background, thus creating a meaningful key sequence for the end user. 6 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential FUNCTION KEY AND ACTION BUTTON MAPPINGS OMNII Keyboard Overlay Action Key Functions Key Mapping Value CL (Delete) Clears the field where data was entered F1 Oracle “Show Key Mappings” F1 F2 Oracle “Cancel” F2 F3 Oracle “Previous Page” F3 F4 Oracle “Next Page” F4 LV (List of Values) Displays list of values for designated field Control L SEL (Select Record) Selects a record Control S MM (Main Menu) Navigates to the primary menu Control N PUP (Page Up) Navigates to the previous page Control D PDN (Page Down) Navigates to the next page Control C LPN (Generate) Generates a new value on the current field Control G ERR (Error Message) Displays full error message Control B 7 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com Control K © Psion Confidential MOBILE SUPPLY CHAIN APPLICATIONS KEYBOARD BENEFITS By creating these ‘Hot’ actions keys and by grouping all the main action keys in one single location on the OMNII™ for Oracle keyboard realized benefits include: End user will see an increase in transaction speed End user will become more efficient and productive Less end user training with MSCA specific naming convention 8 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential ORACLE KEYBOARD OPTIONS Alpha Numeric 59 Key* 9 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com QWERTY / Numeric 66 Key** © Psion Confidential AGENDA » Presentation » Spec Sheet » Ordering Information » Steps to be Oracle Ready » OPN Solutions Catalog 10 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential SPEC SHEET 11 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential SPEC SHEET 12 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential SPEC SHEET 13 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential SPEC SHEET 14 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential AGENDA » Presentation » Spec Sheet » Ordering Information » Steps to be Oracle Ready » OPN Solutions Catalog 15 psion.com | ingenuityworking.com © Psion Confidential HOW TO ORDER When quoting the Omnii Oracle keypad you have to select the option for “specify” under keyboard type and then you get the option to select the Oracle keyboard.
