History of the company
 In 1954 – estabilished company called „Elektrizace železnic
Praha“ (translated „Railways Electrification Prague“)
 At the beginning OCL for speeds up to 120 km/h were developed
for 3 kV DC and 25 kV AC traction systems
 Since 1954 our company electrificated all of the main lines in
Czechoslovakia and urban mass transportation lines
 In 1992 the company was privatized and transformed into jointstock company
 In the 90‘s we have developed OCL for speeds up to 200 km/h for
3 kV DC and 25 kV AC traction systems
 In 2007 the innovated OCL types for speeds up to 260 km/h were
certified according to TSI

After privatization we started to supply too:
 Traction substations 750 V DC, 1500 V DC, 3 kV DC (including
substation 110kV, 22 kV AC) and 25 kV AC (including sub. 110 kV)
 Electrical coach pre-heating system
 Electrical heating of switches
 Service and maintenance
 Projects (electrotechnological units)
Our company offers not only OCL and electrotechnological units
construction but also owns a powerful production base.
Production base consists of 2 production centres (1 for steel
structures, 1 for OCL accesories and switchgears)
The construction works are implemented by 4 centres (2 for railway
OCL, 1 for electrotechnological units, 1 for urban mass
transportation).
