Deloitte Consulting’s Supply Chain Strategy service line is highly active in this field and is looking for an intern to support the research related to omni-channel and supply chain capabilities Assignment During the internship the graduate will be responsible for desk research supporting the point-of-view development, developing a supply chain capability survey, manage the survey process and interpret the results. This will be the basis of the graduation thesis around best practices and key capabilities in supply chain to survive in an omni-channel world. In addition to desk research and the survey, the graduate will support the omnichannel team in client interviews to enrich the point of view as well as gather real life examples of omni-channel best practices. A key deliverable of the internship will be an omni-channel supply chain maturity model to map existing and future omni-channel actors and assess the current and desired level of maturity. Based on our experience in supply chain planning and market knowledge, we are in the process of developing a paper that gives full insight in the planning platforms that are used at companies within the FMCG and Manufacturing Industry and which of them are most effective.
