A New C119.7-XXXX Standard is being developed
Phase 1 of a Joint ANSI C119.7 - EPRI Project for
testing the proposed high temperature test protocol
is in progress
Testing of ACSS, ACCR, and ACCC conductor–
connector systems to validate the proposed test
protocol is approximately 50% complete
Phase 1 of the C119.7 – EPRI test protocol evaluation
is scheduled to be completed in 2011
EPRI is doing additional long duration (1,500 cycle)
heat cycle performance testing and scientific
evaluation of connector – conductor interface
performance at high temperatures
Phase 2 of the C119.7 – EPRI test protocol evaluation is being
planned for 2012
