• Centralbanken i Kina
• Formulerer og implementerer den monetære politik, opretholder finansiel stabilitet
• Tilvejebringer forskellige bankprodukter til fordel for økonomisk vækst og prisstabilitet i bank-sektoren.
China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC)
• Formulerer regler for bank-sektoren
• Udfører on-site kontrol i bankerne

• Ansvarlig for overvågning og administration af FX-markedet i Kina
• Formulerer forslag til nye regler på området – og er ansvarlig for udbredelsen af disse regler
• Deltager aktivt i processen omkring konvertibiliteten af RMB
• Offentliggør statistik omkring valutareserverne, udl. investeringer, cross border betalinger m.v.
